Crazy day!

Today was crazy! It took a few hours but we were hanging in there as long as we could. We took on some HUGE bumps.

I was so exited to see all those people there just for us.

It was kind of weird to have all those people around us. They through popcorn at us and everyone was clapping and smiling.

Later we went to go see the new well, Chloe, Luke and Scott cut the ribbon for the new well. I was amazed at how far they had to walk to get to the well and that this was better than before. Our dads went on a walk after that to another new well fairly close to where we were. When they went on the walk we went to see how people live in Ethiopia. It was very strange seeing how people live, because they do not live like us. It made me feel amazed and curious as to how they all lived in the same room with animals outside. I loved their warm smiles and that they let us come to their villages and shared food with us. We enjoyed hiking up the mountain but the car rides we tough as I kept feeling very sick. I really want the school to have more supplies and clean water so that they will grow to be strong. The African boys found us very interesting and now we are at the hotel with no hot water and no toilet paper again. Good thing we brought some with us this time.

Having dinner now with my new friends is fun!

  1. Hey Campbell,
We are so proud of you all. We know you are having an amazing experience and are glad that you all are safe and healthy. We are praying for everyone on the trip every day and all of the people in the villages that you are meeting also. I talked to your mom today and she and Sutton and Finley are doing well in Ohio and looking forward to seeing you and your dad next week. We can't wait to hear all about everything when you get back. After reading about your experiences, the condition of and supplies in the schools interest me as well - I would love to hear more about that when you get home too. We pray for your continued safety and health and may God's love shine through you in all you do-
    Eric, Shelley, Christian, and Emma.
